About the role

Shepheard Vacuum Truck Services is growing, and we have multiple full-time & Casual positions available for reliable, switched-on Vac Truck Operators to join our South West team.
n
This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety — working across commercial, industrial, civil, government and emergency-response projects throughout the South West.
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
Operate vac trucks across commercial, industrial, civil, government and emergency-response projects
n
Work Monday to Friday, with participation in a rotating weekend on-call roster
n
Participate in nightshift and away-work opportunities (when contracts arise)
n
Safety-focused and able to work independently
n
Flexibility to work overtime and be on call as needed.
n
Strong client focus — professional, approachable and committed to representing Shepheard VTS well while delivering a high standard of service on every job
n

About you
n
n
HR licence minimum — MC highly regarded
n
Controlled Waste/Vac truck experience highly regarded,



but not essential
n
Able to pass a Commercial Driver's Medical
n
Able to pass Drug & Alcohol Screening
n
Strong work ethic and a valuable attitude
n
Flexibility to work overtime and be on call as needed
n
Heavy vehicle driving experience and a willingness to learn
