Duties
n
n
Plan and deliver MDT lessons to Secondary students,creating a stimulating and supportive
classroomenvironment.
n




Prepare and implement effective assessments to track andreport on student progress.
n
Differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of ourstudents, ensuring all learners and genders are
supported,encouraged
and challenged in the workshop.
n
Actively support the after-school workshop programs onoffer for Boarding and Day students and staff.
n
Communicate effectively with parents, guardians andcolleagues regarding student progress.
n
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
Current registration with the WA Teachers RegistrationBoard
n
Knowledge and experience of the WA MDT (Wood & Metal)Curriculum.
n
Ability to teach MDT General Courses.
n
n
Desirable Requirements
n
n
Experience teaching MDT at Secondary levels.
n
Strong communication and organisational skills.
n
Evidence of providing a differentiated curriculum.
n
Willingness to contribute to wider school programs,including co-curricular, camps or other school-basedactivities.
n
n
Relevant qualification and experiences will be accepted. Applicants will also need a valid Working with Children card(or willingness to obtain one).
n
Salary: Based on relevant qualification andyears of relevant experience.
n
