About the Roles

As Branch Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in supporting our incredible volunteers and ensuring the successful operation of our local branches. With the support of our Branch Support Officers, you will:
n
Assist branches in providing nutritious and well-presented meals to the community.
n Ensure services comply with Meals on Wheels SA policies and procedures.
n Supervise food safety programs, including adherence to procedures and documentation.
n Train and support volunteers in the use of kitchen equipment and Standard Operating Procedures.
n Assist with meal preparation, cooking, storage, and delivery in a timely and efficient manner.




n Provide administrative assistance to ensure smooth branch operations.

What We're Looking For

The ideal Branch Coordinator will:
n
Have strong supervisory skills – Able to coach, mentor, and support volunteers.
n Build positive team relationships with volunteers, staff, and stakeholders.
n Understand (or be willing to learn) Meals on Wheels SA operations.
n Be highly organised – Robust coordination, time management, and logistics skills.
n Prioritise and adapt to meet conflicting demands in a dynamic environment.
