Animal Specialty and Emergency Center of Brevard is a specialty referral and 24-hour emergency hospital committed to providing premier diagnostics and therapeutics in a comfortable, compassionate environment.
As a Cardiologist, you'll join a growing team of specialists, experienced Emergency clinicians, a certified canine rehabilitation therapist, and a highly skilled, well-established support team.
You'll have access to advanced technology and a collaborative environment designed to support high-quality patient care, including MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, digital radiography, ultrasonography, endoscopy, laparoscopy and thoracoscopy, ventilator support, physical therapy with an underwater treadmill and acupuncture, and a full in-house laboratory.

In your day-to-day, you will:
Provide medical and/or interventional cardiology care, including diagnosis and management of complex cardiac cases.
Perform and interpret echocardiograms, thoracic radiographs, ECGs, and Holter/telemetry monitoring.
Participate in on-call coverage for ER echocardiograms and cath procedures as needed.
Collaborate with overnight ER and ICU teams to support inpatient cardiac care.
Access ongoing mentorship and training opportunities, including cath lab experience across the network.
Utilize the hospital's advanced technology and diagnostic capabilities to support comprehensive cardiac care.
Collaborate closely with Emergency clinicians and other specialty teams on shared patients, referrals, and transfers.
Mentor veterinary technicians and support team members as part of daily case management and patient care.
Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners, providing education and guidance throughout the diagnostic and treatment process.
Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.
What You Bring
DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
Board Certification in Cardiology or Residency Trained in Cardiology.
Strong clinical skills and an interest in diagnosing and managing complex cardiovascular cases.
Solid communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
