About the Role
Hewitt Foods is seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to supervise and support the day-to-day activities of our production team in West Gosford. In this frontline leadership role, you will coordinate workflow, drive production performance,maintainquality standards, and champion a strong safety culture. Working closely with the Production Supervisor, you will lead by example, support team development, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the production floor.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate and support production employees across designated production areas.
Coordinate daily workflows and labour allocation to achieve production schedules and KPIs.
Promote and enforce safe work practices, SOP compliance, and housekeeping standards.
Monitor product quality, minimise waste, andidentifyopportunities for operational improvement.
Complete production documentation and communicate operational outcomes and risks to management.
About You
You are a confident and hands-on leader with experience working in a production, manufacturing, or food processing environment. You thrive in fast-paced operations, enjoy developing people, and are passionate about achieving team results. Withstrong communicationand problem-solving skills, you can balance operational priorities whilemaintaininghigh standardsof safety, quality, and performance.
You Will Bring
Demonstrated leadership experience in a production, manufacturing, food processing, or similar operational environment, with the ability to lead,
coach and support team members.
Proven experience working to production targets and KPIs.
Strong leadership, coaching, and people management capabilities.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
Basic computer literacy and experience completing reports and production records.
