D365 Functional Consultant - Sydney - Permanent - 90% Remote

I'm partnering with a growing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central consultancy looking for a Functional Consultant to join its Sydney team.
n
The client requires you on site 1 day per week and 4 days remote.
n
You'll work across end-to-end BC implementations and enhancements, with exposure to finance, supply chain, inventory and warehouse management.
n
This is a client-facing role with genuine ownership of project workstreams, rather than a pure support position.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Run and support discovery, requirements and design workshops
n
Configure Business Central across finance, purchasing, sales, inventory and warehousing
n
Support fit/gap analysis, UAT, training and go-live
n
Work with finance teams across GL, AP/AR, banking, fixed assets, dimensions and month-end
n
Support data migration, opening balances and reconciliations
n
Configure warehouse processes including locations, bins, picks and put-aways
n




Work closely with developers and solution architects on integrations and solution design
n
Use AI/Copilot tools to improve documentation, testing and delivery efficiency
n
n
What We're Looking For

Strong finance functional knowledge
n
Experience across inventory, supply chain or warehouse management
n
Exposure to end-to-end BC implementations
n
Client-facing workshop, UAT or training experience
n
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
n

Highly regarded

Advanced WMS
n
Retail, wholesale or distribution experience
n
Shopify, freight or WMS integrations

Power BI / Power Automate
