Base Salary: $ 146,815 - $153,874 (p.a.).

Total Effective Package: $178,868 - $186,916 (p.a.) *

About the role
n
The Manager – Revenue is responsible for the monitoring and reporting within Congress of grant and non-grant revenue items. This includes Medicare, Practice Incentive Payments, National Disability Insurance Scheme receipts and assisting the Chief Financial Officer to develop and maintain a high-quality financial systems and internal controls.
n
This role will also involve overseeing and managing staff, ensuring effective team performance and development.
n
This role is based in Alice Springs; candidates are expected to live in Alice Springs and work at our Alice Springs offices.
n
To be considered for this position, you will require:
n
n
Degree qualification in Commerce, Finance or Economics (or equivalent), and membership or eligibility for membership of the Australian Society of CPA's or Institute of Chartered Accountants;
n
Extensive experience in direct accounting at a senior level;
n
Extensive experience in the use of computerised financial packages and payroll systems;
n
Demonstrated experience in the preparation of Long-Term Financial Plans for large and complex organisations.
n
Highly competent use of Excel spread sheets for analysing and reporting financial information;
n
Highly developed experience in the preparation and interpretation of financial statements for use by senior management;
n
Demonstrated experience in the management and reconciliation of grant funding;
n
Thorough knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and professional reporting requirements;
n
Demonstrated sound decision-making skills, analytical and conceptual skills; and
n
Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly report writing.
n
Demonstrated people management skills
n
Willingness, ability and appropriate levels of health and fitness to travel to and work from remote locations if required
n
n
