To support this next phase, we are continuing the evolution of our People & Culture function — moving from a traditional HR model to a modern, strategic capability that builds leadership strength, strengthens culture, enhances employee experience and uses workforce intelligence to support business performance.

We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute General Manager – People & Culture to partner with the CEO and Strategic Leadership Team and lead the next stage of this transformation.
n
About the Role
n
Reporting to the CEO, this role is a key strategic partner to the Strategic Leadership Team, with genuine influence over organisational direction, workforce capability and culture.
n
The General Manager – People & Culture will provide enterprise-level leadership across workforce strategy, leadership capability, organisational design and people risk, ensuring the business has the capability and culture required to support ongoing operational and commercial success.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
Leading and stewarding the People & Culture strategy aligned to business objectives
n
Providing strategic advice to executive leadership on workforce risk, culture and organisational design
n
Driving leadership capability and performance across operations and corporate teams
n
Overseeing workforce planning, remuneration, ER/IR governance, talent acquisition and people systems
n
Embedding a values-led culture across diverse and geographically dispersed operations
n
Strengthening data-driven workforce decision-making and governance
n
The role will lead an integrated People & Culture structure comprising specialist functions across employee experience, workforce planning, recruitment,
systems and analytics, learning and capability, and employee relations.

About You
n
You are an experienced senior People & Culture leader with a strong operational and commercial mindset.
n
You will bring:
n
Proven executive-level leadership experience in People & Culture / HR
n
Demonstrated success leading organisational transformation or strategic function uplift
n
Strong commercial acumen and ability to align people strategy with business outcomes
n
Deep knowledge of workforce risk, compliance and ER/IR governance
n
Experience working within complex, multi-site or operational environments
n
A collaborative and pragmatic leadership style that builds trust and credibility
n
You are values-led, strategic and capable of balancing long-term vision with practical delivery.
