As a
Project Manager | Environmental Scientist
, you're at the point where you can run a contaminated land project properly but that doesn't mean your next move needs to bury you in management.
This boutique national consultancy has the capability and project diversity of a much larger firm, while keeping you close to the work, clients and decisions.
You'll own projects from planning through delivery, manage clients and budgets, review technical work and help develop the juniors underneath you. There's also a significant financial upside:
25% of company profits are distributed amongst employees.
The Role
Based in North Sydney, you'll project manage contaminated land and groundwater work across major infrastructure, rail, property development and Council portfolios.
You'll:
Manage PSI, DSI, remediation and validation projects
Take projects from initial planning and scoping through to delivery
Manage clients, budgets, timelines and project risks
Review complex technical reports and maintain delivery quality
Mentor and train junior Environmental Scientists and Graduates
Provide technical guidance across contaminated land and groundwater work
Contribute to tenders, proposals and business development

Experience
5+ years' environmental consulting experience
Strong contaminated land and groundwater experience
Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related degree
Experience managing projects, clients and budgets
Strong technical reporting and review skills
Valuable understanding of NSW environmental legislation and regulatory requirements
CEnvP, or working towards it, highly regarded
Salary circa $110,000 + super + 25% company profit share.
