Anticipated Salary Range:$115,******-$150,******. The salary range for this role is intended as a good faith estimate based on the role's location, expectations, and responsibilities. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our team. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex software capabilities for computer-based systems. Will work closely with other talented engineers to create software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. Role is hybird with some on-site support.

Must have a strong working knowledge and experience developing Java based software capabilities.
n
Should have an inquisitive nature, responsiveness, and excellent testing skills.
n
Must also possess strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines.
n
Will work in a fast-paced, small business workplace with our talented team.

Minimum Qualifications
n
n
Security Clearance - A current Secret level U.S. Government security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship required. Can consider candidates with TS level clearance as well.
n
At least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries (e.g., Spring, Guava)



and a Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
n
Experience in RESTful web services.
n
Experience in Microservices architecture.
n
Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigms.
n
Experience with the agile software lifecycle.
n
Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Git, Nexus, Maven).
n
Comfortable working on a linux command line.
n
Has a proven ability to learn quickly and works well both independently as well as in a team setting.
n
Problem solving skills and ability to review information and compile data appropriately as needed.
n
DoD *********** compliance certification will be required in this position within 60 days of employment.
n
Must be able to work on customer site in Hanover, MD 1-2 days per week and Enlighten's Columbia, MD office 1 day per week. Flexibility is essential to adapt to schedule changes as needed.

Preferred Requirements
n
n
Experience with NiFi, Kafka, AWS Infrastructure, and K8's.
n
Experience in cloud based technologies (AWS, Azure).
n
Experience in SQL databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL), distributed databases, NoSQL databases.
n
Scripting experience is a huge plus.
n
Prior experience or familiarity with our Big Data Platform is a plus.
n
Understanding of agile software development methodologies and use of standard software development tool suites. (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Youtrack, Github, etc.)
