The Opportunity
n
Reporting to the Director, the Senior Development Manager will take end-to-end ownership of a portfolio of complex residential and mixed-use projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for a seasoned skilled who wants genuine autonomy and direct access to decision-makers in a streamlined, high-trust environment.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Drive projects from feasibility and site acquisition through DA approvals, construction and practical completion
n
Prepare and manage development programmes, budgets, risk registers and project feasibilities across all phases
n
Lead and coordinate design teams including architects, planners, engineers and specialist consultants
n
Manage DA, SSDA and other statutory approval pathways, including engagement with councils and State Government agencies
n
Monitor and manage project financial performance against approved feasibility models
n
Build and maintain relationships with planning authorities, financiers, REAs and community stakeholders
n
Prepare board papers,
executive reporting and investor updates
n
Mentor and guide junior members of the development team
n

About You
n
n
8-10+ years of development management experience with a strong track record in residential apartments and/or mixed-use projects in Sydney
n
Demonstrated ability to deliver medium-to-large scale projects (TDC $40M+) as lead Development Manager
n
Tertiary qualification in Property, Planning, Construction Management, Architecture or a related discipline
n
Deep knowledge of NSW planning legislation including the EP&A; Act, SEPP frameworks and SSD pathways
n
Strong commercial acumen with experience owning feasibilities and financial modelling (Estate Master or similar)
n
Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills across government, community and consultant levels
n
Established relationships with architects, builders and planning authorities across the Sydney market
n
