Lead the Future of Acute Mental Health Services in the Top End
n
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and visionary leader to join the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) as the Director of Acute Services.
n
In this pivotal role, you will provide strategic leadership and effective senior operational management of the Top End Region's acute mental health services. You will play a key role in shaping and delivering high-quality, contemporary mental health care while contributing to the strategic development and growth of the Top End Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (TEMHAODS).

Working collaboratively with executive leaders, clinical stakeholders, government agencies and community partners, you will drive service excellence, workforce capability,
innovation and continuous improvement across acute mental health services.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Provide strategic leadership and senior operational management of acute mental health services across the Top End Region.
n
Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic priorities for the Top End Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service.
n
Lead service planning, reform and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care.
n
Foster a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
n
Build and maintain strong partnerships with health services, government agencies, community organisations and key stakeholders.
n
Lead workforce planning, development and engagement strategies to support a high-performing multidisciplinary workforce.
n
Ensure services operate within legislative, regulatory, financial and governance frameworks.
