EL-1 Senior Salesforce DevOps Key details: Duration: 12 months with potential 12- month extension Location: QLD, WA, ACT, VIC, NSW, NT, SA, TAS Hourly rate: ***** per HR Clearance: Baseline DevOps Engineer (Salesforce) Our Federal Government Client is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong Salesforce platform expertise to support the design, implementation, and optimisation of contemporary software delivery and deployment processes.
This role will play a key part in driving CI/CD practices, environment management, release automation, and deployment governance across enterprise applications.
Key Requirements Essential Experience Minimum 4 years' experience working as a DevOps Engineer.
Minimum 2.5 years' experience working within the Salesforce ecosystem.
Experience designing, implementing, and architecting DevOps tooling and processes.
Strong experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) practices.
Experience with software configuration management and version control.
Demonstrated experience managing environments and configuration across multiple stages of delivery.
Technical Skills Strong knowledge of Git, branching strategies, trunk-based development,



agile delivery practices, pull requests, and merge conflict resolution.
Experience creating, maintaining, and supporting custom CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and JavaScript.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to develop, maintain, and execute technical runbooks and operational documentation.
Experience using Salesforce DevOps and release management tools such as Copado, AutoRABIT, Gearset, or similar solutions.
