About the role
We're currently seeking experienced Emergency Registered Nurse's to join the team at St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba. Do you thrive in in a dynamic, fast-paced setting, where you will be required to use your exceptional clinical skills to efficiently and accurately plan, coordinate and evaluate care needs to ensure high quality care in a rapidly changing setting? As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you'll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated clinical team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for our patients.

Things that work for us
Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency is essential
Effective communication skills at all levels enabling you to achieve best practice
Recent experience in the speciality area you are interested in applying for, and appropriate qualifications and registration
You will understand the importance of providing quality care, and you feel rewarded by creating a genuine impact




Well-developed interpersonal skills that provide the support and nurture for our patients and organisation's needs
Minimum 2 years of recent emergency nursing experience in an acute care setting
Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification and Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is mandatory, training provided
Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing desirable but not essential
Willingness and proven reliability to work a rotating roster — including day, evening, night, weekend, and public holiday shifts
Commitment to teamwork, adaptability, and continuous professional growth within the emergency nursing specialty
About our hospital
St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba is the largest acute private hospital on the Darling Downs. We are a 197-bed facility with highly experienced and skilled staff that work as a team to deliver the highest standard of healthcare to all our patients. Our services include medical, surgical, maternity, paediatric, emergency, cardiac and rehabilitation. We are supported by comprehensive allied health services and advanced medical and diagnostic services. Pathology, radiology and pharmacy are also available on site, and our emergency department is open 24 hours, seven days a week.
