We are currently searching for an experienced Mechanical Fitter or Hydraulic Technician to join an established Australian manufacturer and service provider.
Based in Campbellfield , you will diagnose, service and repair specialised truck-mounted hydraulic equipment , working alongside an experienced team of technicians.
The role offers stable weekday hours of 7:30am–4:00pm Monday to Thursday and 7:30am–1:00pm Friday , with no regular weekend work.
What you will do: Diagnose hydraulic, mechanical and basic electrical faults Repair pumps, cylinders, valves, hoses and mechanical components Strip, repair and rebuild truck-mounted equipment Complete MIG welding and general repair fabrication Read hydraulic and engineering schematics Assist other technicians and support apprentices What we are looking for: A recognised mechanical fitting or related trade qualification Strong hydraulic fault-finding and repair experience Experience with mobile,
heavy-vehicle or industrial equipment Ability to interpret hydraulic or engineering schematics Basic welding and fabrication skills A practical, safety-conscious and team-focused approach Waste equipment experience is not essential .
We also welcome applications from people who have worked on mobile plant, trucks, forklifts, EWPs, cranes, tail lifts, hook lifts or agricultural machinery.
