Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer to join a high-performing technology team delivering critical enterprise applications and platforms. This role will play a key part in driving quality outcomes through robust test automation, API testing, and continuous integration practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
n
Perform API, integration, system and end-to-end testing.
n
Develop automation solutions using C# and Selenium.
n
Build and maintain automated testing within Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
n
Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data and support testing activities.
n
Collaborate with developers, business analysts and stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes.
n
Identify testing risks, gaps and opportunities for process improvement.
n
Drive best practice automation and quality engineering standards across the delivery team.
n
Support release activities and ensure testing is embedded throughout the SDLC.
n

About You
n
You will bring strong experience as a Senior Automation Test Engineer working across complex environments, with the ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities and take ownership of automation delivery. You are a self-starter who enjoys solving technical challenges and can confidently work with minimal supervision.

Essential Experience
n
n




Robust automation testing experience in enterprise environments.
n
Previous software development experience, ideally using C#.
n
Hands-on experience with Selenium test automation.
n
Strong API testing experience.
n
Experience working with Azure DevOps.
n
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
n
Advanced SQL skills for data validation and testing.
n
Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks.
n
Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies.
n
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
n
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
n

Highly Regarded
n
n
Experience within Financial Services or other highly regulated environments.
n
Experience as the sole or lead Automation Tester within a delivery team.
n
Exposure to cloud based platforms and modern engineering practices.
n
ISTQB Certification.
n
