Accountant | Mining | 3 Month Temporary Contract | Perth CBD I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Accountant to join a well-established organisation within the mining sector on an initial three-month temporary assignment.
Based in the Perth CBD, this role will suit a hands-on Accountant who can step into a busy finance function and contribute immediately.
Previous mining industry experience and PRONTO experience are essential, along with the ability to commence at short notice.
You will be responsible for a broad range of accounting duties, including: End-to-end accounts payable General ledger maintenance Monthly management reporting Month end close Balance sheet reconciliations BAS preparation and lodgement Fringe Benefits Tax Fixed asset depreciation Cash flow support Liaising with internal stakeholders and external auditors To be considered for this chance, you will ideally have: Previous accounting experience within the mining or resources sector Strong working knowledge of PRONTO CA, CPA or equivalent qualification,



or be partially qualified Strong month end, reporting and balance sheet reconciliation experience Exposure to BAS, FBT and fixed asset accounting The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities Strong communication skills and confidence working with key stakeholders and auditors Immediate or very short notice availability This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accountant who is available immediately and looking to secure a three-month assignment within the Perth mining sector.
