About the Home

Bupa Windsor is a modern care home, located 7.5km's south of Melbourne's CBD, close to Albert Park, Melbourne CBD, St Kilda and transport links. It is one building of 41 beds, with a mixture of care types. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.

About the Role
n
To deliver effective support to the hospitality function within the care home, including catering, cleaning and laundry
n
Use your fantastic food services and cleaning skills in a role where you really can make a difference by providing our residents with an empathetic and personal approach.
n
About you
n
Previous catering / food service or cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
n
You will be a team player and someone who enjoys interacting with people and giving back to our most vulnerable.
n
Duties
n
n
Maintain legislated workplace health and safety, quality and hygiene standards
n
Complete required documentation and reporting
n
Respond to residents' queries and requests
n
Laundry duties include loading washers & dryers, sort linen, hang, fold, wrap or iron linen
n
Catering / food services duties include assisting with basic food prep, provide meals and snacks,



clear dining areas and dishwashing
n
Cleaning duties include general cleaning; mopping, vacuuming, and waste collection in the residents'rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areas
n

Skills and Experience
n
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Cleaning or catering experience preferred but not essential
n
Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week
n
You will have an understanding of work health, safety and hygiene practices and the ability to work unsupervised.
