Bethanie Community provides a wide variety of services toclients covering day to day living needs in their own homesincluding personal care, domestic and gardening services, respiteservices and social support in Geraldton, Perth and in the SouthWest.
We are seeking a Qualified Support Worker to join ourBethanie Community Mid West team in a permanent part -time role.You will work a minimum guaranteed 10 hrs per week supporting areaswithin the Geraldton area.
You are required to beavailableMonday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 2pm –6:30pm.
About the role:
Professionally deliver a variety of services (includingfood, laundry, personal care, leisure, supporting hobbies andinterests & domestic cleaning)
Ensure all living areas of clients' homes are kept cleanand tidy, and safe from hazards
All personal care tasks and outcomes are met and documentedappropriately
Support customer with transport to appointments
Provide social support to customers spending time doing thethings they love
Whilst we require you to use your own car,



we offer a generoustravel allowance of $1.05 per kilometre.
About you:
Cert 3 in Individual Support
Previous experience within an Aged Care, or Community Careenvironment is desired.
Ability to work independently, as well as part of ateam
Ability to ensure safety and wellbeing of clients aremaintained
Drivers licence, and access to a reliable vehicle
Current Police Clearance, or willingness to apply forone.
Proof of at least one covid vaccination and the **** fluvaccination, or willingness to obtain.
