Kinokuniya Bookstores of Australia is the largest retail bookstore in the Asia Pacific region, with over 80 operations worldwide.
With our current store located in the heart of Sydney CBD, we pride ourselves on being the largest bookstore in Australia with expansive space and specialised departments spanning from Comics to Art and Design.
Kinokuniya is currently seeking a
full-time Store Operations Team Leader
to work
on a full-time basis from Sundays to Thursdays at our Town Hall store.
The key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Handling of cash register – purchase transactions.
Counting of floats and sales as preparation for banking.




Training, rostering, performance management and supervision of junior staff.
Data Entry.
Gift-wrapping.
Other ad hoc duties as required.
The successful candidates will have:
Ability to work well in a team environment.
High level of attention to detail.
At least two to three years of experience in managing a small team.
