This is a client-side chance with a global data centre developer delivering a multi-billion-dollar precinct in Melbourne's western suburbs.
With the major equipment and modular packages already procured, you'll take ownership of coordinating critical infrastructure including chillers, switchboards, generators, transformers and UPS systems from design and manufacture through to delivery, installation, integration and commissioning.
Working closely with consultants, suppliers, contractors and the broader project team, you'll manage technical interfaces, monitor programme and supplier commitments, resolve issues and ensure each package is ready when required on site.
This is not a general Project Coordinator position.
To be considered, you must have personally coordinated significant technical or equipment packages on a large-scale project.
You'll need strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to drive consultants, suppliers and contractors rather than simply monitor and report.
Relevant experience may come from data centres, hospitals, critical infrastructure, major industrial facilities or large services-heavy commercial projects where equipment integration and commissioning form a significant part of delivery.
Experience coordinating generators, transformers, switchgear, UPS systems, chillers,



modular plant or similar equipment will be highly regarded.
The position would suit an experienced Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer who enjoys the technical and coordination side of complex projects and is ready to take broader ownership client-side.
A mechanical, electrical, construction or engineering qualification would be advantageous.
You'll join a well-resourced and collaborative delivery team working on one of Australia's largest mission-critical developments.

Once the initial equipment packages are delivered, you'll transition into the broader fit-out team and continue working across the company's long-term project pipeline.

The package ranges from $150k to $200k plus an annual bonus, depending on experience.
