Job Description Indigitise is seeking a DevOps Engineer to work effectively with technical teams, including development teams, hosting platform teams and Enterprise Integration Teams.
DevOps Engineers will establish and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines, repositories and artefacts, ensuring deployed applications remain current in their toolsets, resilient, secure and automated wherever possible.
In collaboration with other teams in the work area, the role will investigate and resolve complex issues affecting application operations.
The candidate must hold an active NV1 security clearance prior to commencement.
Requirements Key duties and responsibilities The role will be responsible for, but not limited to: · Designing, implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes for developed solutions while maintaining a strong focus on efficiency and reliability.
· Overseeing the configuration and management of development, testing and production hosting environments, ensuring accurate replication of real-world conditions for rigorous integration testing.
· Applying advanced scripting and automation skills using tools such as PowerShell, ARM templates, Bicep and YAML to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.
· Implementing comprehensive monitoring solutions to track the performance, availability and security of integration solutions, and configuring alerting systems to enable proactive issue resolution.
· Integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enhance software quality and reliability, including security testing practices, Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Agile Application Security Testing (DAST).
· Working closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, Cyber Security, system analysts,
integration testers and other stakeholders, to align DevOps practices with project goals and timelines and foster collaboration.
· Maintaining comprehensive documentation of deployment processes, configurations and best practices to support knowledge sharing and future reference.
· Performing additional duties or assuming responsibility for functions as directed from time to time.
Requirements Key duties and responsibilities We are seeking a Senior Storage Engineer who has experience working in large complex ICT environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying, configuring, managing and tuning the department's storage systems at physical and virtual layers.
The Senior Storage Engineer will also be responsible to deploy, configure and manage Storage Area Network Switches as required.
The successful candidate should have knowledge of new and emerging technologies to shape the future direction of the department's storage and data platforms.
The role requires producing design documents, build documents, operations document, handover and sharing of knowledge with other team members and mentoring junior team members.
Essential criteria 1.Demonstrated experience and knowledge in the design, administration, tuning and troubleshooting of one or more of the following storage systems: • HPE 3PAR, Primera, Alletra Storage Systems • NetApp E-Series • Dell Data Domain • Brocade Fabric Switches • SANnav • Scality Artesca 2.Ability to produce design, build and operations documents for processes and procedures.
3.Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills to work with skilled technical people, including making presentations to staff and stakeholders and coaching staff.
4.Experience / Knowledge of following technology: • Veeam Backup and Replication
