THE ROLE Reporting to the General Manager, People Culture, this role takes ownership of a complex portfolio of a few thousand employees covering remote sites and metro-based sites across Western Australia.
Based in Perth, you'll act as a true business partner to site managers, area managers and operational GMs, providing hands on advice on people matters while also driving improvement projects, frameworks and policy work at a broader level.
You'll lead a small team of HR Advisors and act as a trusted business partner to two executive level GM's.
This is a business partnering role first and an HR role second, so you'll need to be commercially sharp, hands on and confident making calls independently.
Travel to remote sites is required a few times a year, with more frequent travel to metro clients manageable within a standard working week.
Hybrid working is on offer.
THE CRITERIA To be successful in this role, you'll bring senior HR business partnering and people and culture management experience from a complex, multi-site, operational environment, think healthcare, aviation, logistics, transport, mining or similar volume-based industries.
You'll be a commercially focused business partner at your core, someone who thinks like an operator first and an HR practitioner second.
Experience leading change and transformation initiatives will be highly valued, as will a proven ability to manage complex employee relations matters with confidence.
