Position Overview: As a Disability Support Worker at Livability Care Australia Pty Ltd, you will provide person-centred care to individuals with disabilities in homes located in Victor Harbor, Fleurie Peninsula, Kangaroo Island, Goolwa, Mount Barker, Hindmarsh Island surrounding areas in South Australia, supporting their well-being, independence, daily activities, and social and community participation Tasks responsibilities : Provide personal care and individualised support to participants with physical and/or intellectual disabilities, addressing their personal needs, independence and empowerment under appropriate guidance.
Assist clients with medication, manual handling and other daily support requirements.
Implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans in accordance with approved procedures.
Support clients' community participation and maintain relationships with relevant community organisations.
Develop, implement and monitor individual program plans and remain accountable for participant outcomes.
Maintain accurate communication, reporting and participant progress records in accordance with organisational procedures.
Respond to crises in accordance with policies, procedures, the Code of Conduct and incident-reporting requirements, and seek assistance when necessary.
Participate in team meetings and work cooperatively, respectfully and flexibly with colleagues, providing support when required.
Participate in workplace training and site inductions as required by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience : Certificate III in Individual Support or higher or Two years of relevant experience in lieu of Certificate III.
One (1) Year of relevant experience NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Australian Driver's Licence First Aid, CPR Manual Handling Certificates Medication Administration Certificate Any additional skills, including an understanding of DDA drugs, diabetes management, and behaviours of concern, are highly desirable Skills : Skilled in providing person-centred care through compassionate communication, reliable support, qualified boundaries, and accurate documentation.

The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience.
Excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally.
Willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members.
Benefits Remuneration : Salary commensurate with experience $73,825 to $80,100 plus guaranteed superannuation.
