We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Coordinator for a short-term contract opportunity based initially in Murrumba Downs , with possible coverage at Springfield during September.
This is a hands-on coordination role ideal for someone with experience across facilities, trades, property or asset maintenance who enjoys keeping operations running smoothly and working with contractors and site stakeholders.
The Role Working closely with site teams, contractors and client stakeholders, you will coordinate the day-to-day delivery of facilities and maintenance services.
Your responsibilities will include: Coordinating planned and reactive maintenance Managing day-to-day contractor and subcontractor activities Supporting work order management and subcontractor queries Conducting site inspections and audits and following up outstanding actions Monitoring contractor performance against scope, budget and compliance requirements Liaising with site staff, client stakeholders and internal teams Coordinating day-to-day activities with site-based officers and supervisors Maintaining accurate maintenance records, plans and reporting Acting as a key point of contact for facilities and asset maintenance matters About You You will be an organised,



personable and practical operator who can think on your feet and confidently manage multiple priorities.
Ideally, you will have: Previous experience in facilities coordination, asset maintenance, property maintenance or a trades environment Experience coordinating contractors and maintenance activities The ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Strong practical problem-solving skills Project coordination or project management experience would be advantageous Trade, property or facilities-related qualifications would be highly regarded Requirements Current driver's licence Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check, or willingness to obtain What's on Offer $40 per hour + super 38 hours per week Monday to Friday roster Short-term contract with potential for extension Murrumba Downs location Possible Springfield coverage On-site parking Immediate start This is a excellent opportunity for an experienced Facilities Coordinator, Maintenance Coordinator, Facilities Officer or Trades Coordinator looking for a hands-on contract role with plenty of variety and stakeholder interaction.
