The role: Manage complex misconduct cases, ensuring compliance with policies, legislation and principles of procedural fairness.
Provide strategic and operational advice to students, staff and stakeholders on misconduct matters.
Support student misconduct and appeals processes, including preparing reports, documentation and advice for committees and senior leadership.
Contribute to the development and improvement of university-wide policies, procedures and frameworks relating to student misconduct.
Develop and support education, induction and communication programs to promote awareness of student conduct requirements and available support services.
Analyse case trends and emerging risks, preparing reports and recommendations for senior leadership and university governance bodies.




Maintain accurate and current misconduct-related information and resources across university systems and websites.
Work collaboratively within a specialist team, supporting broader misconduct activities and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
About you: To be successful in this role, you will have: Strong research, investigation and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and apply legislation, policies and procedures.
Experience with case management and complex case investigations Excellent judgement, decision-making and negotiation skills Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities High level of organisation, planning and attention to detail with strong systems and reporting skills across standard office tools Strong policy development and review experience Experience developing training, communication and awareness programs Confident managing sensitive or complex situations, including conflict resolution Highly organised with the ability to manage workflows and meet deadlines Good understanding of natural justice and procedural fairness, complaints management frameworks and best practice Relevant qualification or equivalent experience (legal or counselling background advantageous) What's on offer: Hybrid working Friendly tight knit office environment Reference Number: *****- This is an hybrid position.
