What you'll be doing Leading and supervising the feed team — organising daily feeding operations and rostering people where they're needed most Getting hands-on with machinery and feed truck operation, mixing, delivering and distributing feed to hit our LLN (Least-Likely Number) / bunk-reading targets Reading bunks accurately and adjusting feed calls on schedule, keeping hay racks in top condition Running the milling process end-to-end — grain receival, sampling and testing, mill and boiler start-up, operation and shut-down Training and coaching the team, and helping them build the competencies they need to thrive Spotting hazards and breakdowns early, reporting them quick, and keeping maintenance and safety on track Setting the standard — modelling the quality and safety behaviours you expect from the crew Keeping accurate daily records, including FY300 updates across the roster, weekends included
