Vinova are working with a leading energy business that is expanding its Australian development portfolio.
n
This is an opportunity to take operational ownership of the Australian development function and lead a multidisciplinary team across a number of projects at different stages of development.
n
You'll maintain a detailed understanding of the portfolio, including project status, risks, critical path and key decisions, while ensuring senior leadership has clear and timely visibility of what is happening across the business.
n
The role will also provide senior oversight across planning, approvals, land, community and other development workstreams, while working closely with internal and external stakeholders to keep projects progressinng.

Duties
n

Manage a multidisciplinary development team
n
Maintain clear oversight of project status, risks, milestones and critical path
n
Translate strategic priorities into clear project plans and actions
n
Oversee planning, approvals and regulatory workstreams
n
Identify emerging project risks and recommend practical solutions
n
Drive portfolio prioritisation and readiness for financial close
n
Support senior leadership with investor, due diligence and Board requirements
n

Skills & experience
n
n
Significant project development experience within the Australian energy sector
n
Strong planning background with experience navigating Australian approvals processes
n




Proven experience project managing early and mid stage development life cycle
n
Strong commercial and strategic judgement across complex development projects
n
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
n
Comfortable operating autonomously while maintaining disciplined reporting to senior leadership
n
Genuine leadership prospect across a growing Australian portfolio
n
Significant autonomy and ownership over development decisions
n
Exposure to complex energy and infrastructure projects
n
Close involvement with senior leadership and strategic portfolio decisions
