This is a rare opportunity to help shape the technology foundations of a combined financial services organisation from the outset.
n
We are partnering with an established Australian financial services organisation entering an important period of strategic change and potential business integration.
n
We are seeking an accomplished Head of Technology Strategy & Integration to lead the technology workstream - assessing two technology environments, defining the optimal future state and creating the roadmap and governance capability required to successfully bring them together.
n
Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a high-impact executive engagement with exposure to the Board, senior leadership and regulatory stakeholders.

You will:

Lead technology due diligence across platforms, infrastructure, CRM, data, cyber, vendors and digital capability.
n
Recommend the future-state technology workplace and operating model.
n
Develop the technology transition and integration blueprint, including priorities, dependencies, investment and risk.
n
Determine which platforms and services should be retained, consolidated, replaced or retired.
n
Establish and embed effective Line 1 technology governance and management capability.
n
Strengthen operational resilience,



cyber and third-party risk practices aligned with APRA CPS 230 and CPS 234.
n
Establish appropriate data and vendor governance frameworks.
n
Provide strategic technology advice to the CEO, Executive Leadership Team and Board.
n
Support regulatory engagement and coordinate specialist architecture, cyber, data and implementation resources where required.

About You
n
You will be a senior technology leader with experience operating across technology strategy, transformation, integration and governance, ideally within financial services or another highly regulated environment.
n
You will bring:
n
n
Senior technology leadership experience, potentially as a CIO, CTO, Head of Technology or
Transformation/Integration
Director.
n
Experience with M&A; integration, technology transformation or major platform consolidation.
n
Strong understanding of technology operating models, governance and operational resilience.
n
Knowledge of APRA CPS 230 and CPS 234 will be highly regarded.
n
Strong vendor, outsourcing and third-party management experience.
n
The ability to translate complex technology issues into clear commercial recommendations.
n
Confidence engaging with CEOs, Boards, executives, regulators and external advisers.
n
n
This is not a hands-on architecture or operational IT role. It requires a strategic technology leader who can assess, challenge, recommend and execute, while bringing in specialist expertise where required.
