Following the launch of our first store at Buranda Village, we're building the leadership team for our second Brisbane location, opening in South Bank this October.

The role
n
As Assistant Store Manager, you'll work closely with the Store Manager to help launch and lead Dirk's South Bank.
n
You'll be hands-on across the operation — running shifts, coaching the team, maintaining standards and supporting the commercial performance of the store.
n
This is a genuine 2IC role and an important part of our leadership pipeline. We want someone who can become a future Store Manager as the business grows.
n
What you'll do
n
Help launch and establish the South Bank store
n
Run strong shifts and lead the team from the floor
n
Coach Team Members and Shift Leaders in real time
n
Support rostering, labour, stock, ordering and waste control
n
Maintain speed, quality, cleanliness and customer experience
n
Support training and development of the store team
n
Help maintain food safety and compliance standards
n
Step up and run the store when the Store Manager is away
n
Help develop the culture and operating standards future Dirk's stores will follow
n
What we're looking for
n




You may already be an Assistant Manager, 2IC, Shift Manager or experienced team leader ready for your next step.
n
Ideally you'll bring experience from QSR, fast-casual, hospitality, café, food retail or another high-volume customer environment.
n

Timing
n
Dirk's South Bank is planned to open in October ****.

The successful candidate will commence before opening and will need to be available for paid induction, training, team preparation and soft-launch activities in the lead-up to launch.

Final timing may shift slightly depending on store handover.
