Greencross Vets is seeking an experienced and passionate Practice Manager to support and lead our teams across Greencross Booragoon and Greencross O'Connor.
n
This exciting dual-site leadership opportunity is ideal for an experienced Practice Manager, Vet Nurse with leadership experience or a healthcare leader who thrives on developing people, driving operational excellence, and creating positive team cultures.
n
Working across two established and community-focused clinics, you'll play a key role in supporting our veterinarians, nurses, reception teams, and clients while helping both clinics continue to thrive.
n
This is a full-time position worked across 4 days per week, offering an excellent work-life balance while allowing you to make a meaningful impact across both locations.
n
The Role
n
You'll split your time equally across both clinics, working:
n
n
2 days per week at Greencross Booragoon
n
2 days per week at Greencross O'Connor
n
n
The role will include:
n
n
1 Administration Day at each clinic focusing on leadership, operations, people management, business performance, rostering, and clinic growth
n
1 Reception Day at each clinic supporting client experience, team leadership, workflow management, and day-to-day operations
n
n
This hands-on leadership approach allows you to remain connected to both teams while maintaining a strong operational focus.

About the Role
n
As Practice Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in driving the success of both clinics.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Managing day-to-day clinic operations across both sites




n
Leading, coaching, and developing veterinary nursing and reception teams
n
Supporting rostering, workforce planning, and recruitment
n
Monitoring business performance and achieving key performance indicators
n
Creating and maintaining a positive workplace culture
n
Supporting client experience and service excellence
n
Managing stock control and clinic administration
n
Driving local growth and community engagement initiatives
n
Ensuring compliance and operational standards are maintained
n
Working alongside Vet Directors and regional leaders to achieve clinic goals
n
Supporting team development, engagement, and retention
n

About You
n
We're looking for someone who:
n
n
Has previous Practice Management, Operations Management, or Healthcare Management experience
n
Has experience leading teams within a medical, healthcare, allied health, dental, veterinary, or similar professional setting
n
Is passionate about developing and supporting people
n
Has strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
n
Demonstrates excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
n
Possesses strong organisational skills and business acumen
n
Can confidently manage competing priorities across multiple sites
n
Leads with positivity, accountability, and empathy
n
Is proactive, solutions-focused, and highly organised
n
Enjoys building strong relationships with both clients and team members
n
n
A veterinary nursing qualification is no longer required, although experience within veterinary or animal care environments will be viewed favourably.
n
