Job Description
Our client, a high profile Government Department, is looking for 4x Application Support Engineers to join their team. You will provide Level 2 and 3 support, troubleshooting, monitoring and maintenance for critical government applications.

In this role you will perform the following tasks but not limited to:

Provide Level 2 and Level 3 application and systems support.
n
Monitor systems and improve reliability and performance.
n
Investigate, resolve and document technical issues.
n
Deploy software updates, patches and fixes.
n
Support projects, testing and technical documentation.
n
n
You must be an Australian Citizen and hold an active NV1 security clearance to be eligible. This Canberra-based role requires full time onsite attendance, five days per week. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates are encouraged to apply.

Requirements
n

Strong application troubleshooting and complex problem‐solving skills.
n
Experience with PowerShell automation, T‐SQL and SQL databases.
n
Knowledge of SDLC and ITIL service management processes.
n
Windows Server, Linux and Azure DevOps experience.
n
Strong communication, prioritisation and risk management skills.
n
NV1 security clearance.
n
n
To be eligible for this role you must be willing and able to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance with the Australian Government Vetting Agency, or have an existing or recently inactive clearance of that level. As such, you must be an Australian citizen to obtain that clearance.
