The Role




You will provide high-quality specialist anaesthetic services across a diverse clinical casemix, including:
Elective and emergency anaesthesia
Participation in an
on-call roster
Teaching and supervision of junior doctors and trainees
Involvement in
clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement
Opportunity to develop
subspecialty interests

Total remuneration up to $528,000+
Base salary up to ~$266K + allowances
*****% superannuation + 17.5% leave loading
Private practice / right of private practice
Professional Development Allowance ($21,500 p.a.)
3.6 weeks professional development leave

Requirements
Fellowship of the
Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA)
or equivalent
Eligible for
Specialist Registration with AHPRA
Strong commitment to patient-centred care, teamwork, and teaching
International Medical Graduates Encouraged To Apply
Substantially Comparable (ANZCA)
UK CCT / Ireland / NZ equivalent pathways
