Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced HR Specialist to join a friendly and supportive HR team on a 7-month fixed-term contract, providing maternity leave cover.
n This is a hands-on, generalist HR role suited to someone who enjoys being involved across the employee lifecycle and is comfortable working in a practical, highly administrative environment.

About the Role
n
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will provide day-to-day HR support across the business, including:
n
n
Managing WorkCover claims, including long-term claims and manual handling matters.
n
Supporting the end-to-end recruitment process across a range of vacancies.
n
Coordinating employee inductions and onboarding.
n
Supporting visa checks and maintaining accurate employee records.
n
Managing HR administration including filing, scanning, record keeping and spreadsheets.
n
Providing support and guidance to employees and managers on day-to-day HR matters.
n

About You
n
We are looking for an approachable and reliable HR professional who can hit the ground running.
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
Previous experience in a HR Specialist,



HR Advisor or HR Generalist role.
n
Strong WorkCover experience, including managing or supporting longer-term claims.
n
Recruitment experience and confidence managing multiple vacancies.
n
Strong administration and Excel skills.
n
Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
n
The ability to work confidently without an HRIS and adapt to manual processes.
n
Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with a diverse workforce.
n
A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to work autonomously.
n

This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR professional looking for a 7-month contract within a welcoming and supportive team.
n The role is fully onsite Monday to Friday, with some flexibility around start and finish times, including consideration for school-friendly hours.
