Viper Water Solutions (part of Hollimans Group) manufacture & supply high quality polythene pipe and related products for farms, cattle stations, mines, irrigation & development projects. The Company is currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Mechanical Engineering Technician to join their team in Hughenden QLD.
n
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
n
n
Analyse and assess performance graphs to ensure functionality and diagnosis is in accordance with manufacturing specifications
n
Test mechanical equipment to ensure proper function and identify faults by organising and supervising inspection and maintenance of machines and plant equipment
n
Dismantle defective machine and components for repairs
n
Reassemble machines and equipment following repair, testing operations and make adjustments
n
Maintain maintenance records and adhere to work procedures and workplace policies
n
Installing equipment, machines,



wiring or programs to meet specifications
n
Repairing, servicing and maintaining a wide variety of equipment and machinery
n
Selecting correct tools and equipment for the assembling and installing of new and modified mechanical assemblies, components, machine, tools and controls and hydraulic power systems.
n
Ensuring works are within specifications and regulations including material costing's, quantities, machine requirements and timeframe.
n

About the Candidate
n
Ideally have a Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and or equivalent
n
n
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Extrusion Technician
n
Professional, confident and positive approach to work
n
OH&S; awareness
n
n
Work Workplace
n
Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience
