About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, collaborative and forward-thinking Head of Middle Years to join the leadership team at our growing Mambourin Campus.
Reporting directly to the Campus Principal, the Head of Middle Years will provide strategic and operational leadership across the Middle Years. The successful candidate will oversee curriculum delivery, student wellbeing, pastoral care, behavior management and the day-to-day organization of the Middle Years Programme.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the implementation of the Victorian Curriculum and IB Middle Years Programme
Supporting the academic progress,



wellbeing and personal development of the Middle Years Students
Leading and coaching Middle Years teachers, Pastoral Care teachers, and support staff.
Overseeing student behavior-management and pastoral care processes
Building strong relationships with students, staff, families and the wider College community
Supporting the Christian ethos and contributing to the strategic direction of the College
Selection Criteria
The successful candidate will have:
Current VIT registration
Relevant Tertiary teaching qualifications
Demonstrated educational leadership experience
Strong knowledge of contemporary Middle Years education
Excellent communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills
A commitment to supporting the Christian ethos and values of the College
Special requirements
The successful applicant will be required to completed relevant background, regulatory and professional reference checks
