The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Senior Electronic Security Technician with strong commissioning experience to join an established and growing electronic security business.
n
This is a commissioning-focused role and would suit a senior technician who enjoys taking ownership of projects, getting systems operational, resolving technical issues and ensuring everything is fully tested and handed over to the client.
n
Commissioning Is the KeyWe're specifically looking for someone who has proven hands‐on commissioning experience across electronic security systems.
n
You will be responsible for taking systems from installation through to:
n
n
Programming and configuration
n
Commissioning and system integration
n
Testing and troubleshooting
n
Fault-finding and rectification
n
System verification and quality assurance
n
Client demonstrations and handover
n
Completion of commissioning and project documentation
n
n
You'll be the person who makes sure the system is working correctly, meets the project requirements and is ready for handover.
n
About You
n
To be successful, you'll ideally have:
n
n




Solid experience as an Electronic Security Technician
n
Significant commissioning and programming experience
n
Experience with access control, CCTV, alarms and intercom systems
n
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
n
The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
n
Experience working on commercial and/or complex security projects
n
Confidence dealing with clients, project managers and other trades
n
The ability to work independently and take ownership of your work
n
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
n
A qualified approach and strong communication skills
n
n
