What We Need
n Due to recent targeted growth and an increase in tendering opportunities, we are currently seeking a full time Estimator to join our team working out of our North Lakes Office / Hybrid arrangement. Must have Estimating experience in Utilities and Civil infrastructure.

n Due to recent targeted growth and an increase in tendering opportunities, we are currently seeking a full time Estimator to join our team working out of our North Lakes Office / Hybrid arrangement. Must have Estimating experience in Utilities and Civil infrastructure.
n Key Duties
n
n
Review of contract documents including scope of works, specifications, etc. at tender stage.
n
Develop lump sum pricing/bill of quantities on a range of civil, utility and infrastructure projects using first principle estimates and open market quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
n
Risk management and safe construction techniques when developing construction methodologies and programs with construction team.
n
Manage multiple tenders at any one time.
n
Produce tenders from $0.5 million to $15 million.
n
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing and negotiate subcontract terms and conditions.
n
Assisting the Construction and Commercial Teams to identify and prepare variations and EOT's in accordance with the head contract.

Skills & Experience Required
n
n
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Engineering.
n
Background in civil infrastructure or utilities
n
Robust understanding of buildability, sequencing, risk, and productivity
n
Strong organisational and Time-Management Skills.
n
Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.
n
Ability to work in isolation to meet deadlines.
n
Excellent MS Excel skills with ability to construct MS Excel spreadsheets to suit relevant tenders.
