They have an prospect for a senior level property lawyer to join their team in Sydney.
n
The Real Estate team services some of Australia's largest and most recognised property developers, fund managers, trusts and landlords.
n
This high performing close knit Sydney team is made of up of two leading partners.
n
They provide advice on the full range of property matters including:
n
n
Investment property acquisitions and disposals (commercial buildings, industrial estates and shopping centres).
n
Property development projects.
n
Joint ventures, and structured development agreements.
n
Private equity and funding.
n
Transaction structuring.
n
Leasing.
n
Hotels, resorts & tourism.
n
Management right agreements.
n
n
Position Description
n
This role will see you supporting both partners and work on a mixture of
commercial/retail/industrial
leasing, property development and large-scale acquisitions and disposals.
n
This role will afford a decent amount of autonomy and responsibility.



This will be a client-facing role and will suit a flexible lawyer who enjoys working in a fast paced environment.
n
Requirements
n
The successful candidate will have between 5+ years experience from a well-regarded property practice. Ideally, you will have exposure to complex major transactions and be comfortable negotiating commercial and retail leases.
n
In addition, you will:
n
n
have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as people skills
n
have strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical skills
n
be team-focused but also able to work independently
n
be proactive and have a positive and energetic approach with a commitment to providing excellent service.
