The Co-Group are currently recruiting a Female Support Worker to provide ongoing, dedicated support for a participant in Banora Point, NSW.
n
This role would suit an experienced support worker who is passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care and understands the importance of consistency, trust, and relationship building in achieving positive outcomes.
n
About the Role
n
The participant requires support from a confident, capable and compassionate support worker with experience supporting participants who have complex personal care and high-care needs.
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
A minimum of 2 years' experience supporting NDIS participants with complex personal care needs.
n
Strong hands-on experience providing:
n
Showering and personal hygiene support
n
Dressing and grooming assistance
n
Continence care
n
Mobility and transfer support
n
Overnight supports
n
Experience working with participants who have:
n
Pressure injury risks
n




Skin integrity concerns
n
Other high-care support requirements
n
A strong understanding of:
n
Person-centred practice
n
Participant choice and control
n
Dignity of risk
n
n
Requirements
n
n
Valid Driver's Licence
n
Access to acomprehensive insuredcar with 5 seats
n
NDIS Module – Quality, Safety & You
n
NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) for paid employment
n
Blue Card (WWCC) for paid employment
n
Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
n
Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours using approved techniques.
n
