We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Branch Manager to lead the financial and operational performance of our branch. This is a key leadership opportunity for someone who thrives on delivering strong business outcomes while creating a safe, productive, and customer-focused culture.

About the Role
n
As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for achieving branch sales, EBIT, and operational performance targets while ensuring high service levels and strong inventory management.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Drive branch profitability through ownership of Sales, Opex, and EBIT performance.
n
Develop and execute branch operating plans that balance growth with cost control.
n
Monitor financial results and implement corrective actions where required.
n
Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance margins.
n
Support external sales teams to grow existing customer accounts and win new business.
n
Partner with Coregas and BSJ sales teams to drive gas sales growth.
n
Ensure operational capabilities align with customer requirements and sales strategies.
n
Foster a culture of outstanding customer service and issue resolution.
n
n
Warehouse & Operational Management
n
n
Lead all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, dispatch, and delivery readiness.
n
Maintain high service levels while continuously improving operational efficiency.
n
Ensure compliance with company procedures,



documentation, and quality standards.
n
Drive housekeeping, workflow improvements, and operational excellence.
n
Own stock accuracy, inventory integrity, and stock availability.
n
Reduce stock-outs, aged inventory, and slow-moving stock.
n
Manage supplier relationships to ensure reliable supply, product quality, and competitive commercial outcomes.
n
Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement initiatives.
n
n
Leadership & People Development
n
n
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of approximately 15 employees.
n
Develop team capability, succession plans, and individual performance.
n
Create an engaged, accountable, and customer-focused culture.
n
Ensure training, compliance, and licensing requirements are maintained.
n
n
Health, Safety & Environment
n
n
Champion a strong safety-first culture.
n
Ensure compliance with all HSE policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
n
Lead workplace safety initiatives, inspections, and continuous improvement activities.
n
Drive proactive hazard identification and risk management.
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Proven experience in Branch Management, Operations Management, Warehouse Management, or a similar leadership role.
n
Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated success managing Sales, Opex, and EBIT performance.
n
Experience leading warehouse, inventory, and supply chain operations.
n
Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.




n
Excellent customer relationship and stakeholder management abilities.
n
Experience managing suppliers and vendor relationships.
n
Sound analytical and reporting skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
n
Commitment to workplace health and safety excellence.
n
n
Desirable Qualifications
n
n
Tertiary qualification in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Management, or a related field.
n
Experience within industrial, gas, manufacturing, wholesale distribution, or related industries.
n
