Our clinics in Albany are currently seeking a friendly and organised Medical Receptionist to join the team.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity , working Monday to Friday , with shifts scheduled between 7:00am and 5:30pm.
The role also includes a Saturday morning shift approximately every 6–8 weeks (once trained).
As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, playing an important role in creating a positive and professional patient experience.
This is a fast-paced role where you'll be managing multiple priorities, assisting a high volume of patients and working closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
The role can be challenging while you're learning our systems, processes and radiology procedures, so resilience, adaptability and a willingness to learn are essential.
With comprehensive training and support, you'll build your confidence and capability to thrive in the role.
Your responsibilities will include: Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.
Answering a high volume of emails and phone calls promptly and handling enquiries professionally.
Advising patients of the required preparation prior to relevant scans.
Processing a range of billing procedures, including private, Medicare, Workers Compensation and DVA.




Managing competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and providing a high level of patient care.
Collaborating closely with clerical and technical staff, radiologists and referrers.
Developing a strong understanding of radiology processes, systems and procedures through comprehensive training.
What we're looking for: Explicit verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.
Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.
Ability to drive to both Albany clinics for shifts.
