In this role, you'll:
Be working as part of the Compliance branch of the NSW Point to Point Commission and supporting the organisation through the investigation of suspected breaches of the point-to-point transport legislation.
This role will see you conducting investigations of suspected breaches of the point-to-point transport legislation in relation to legislation of public passenger vehicles carrying less than 12 passengers and supporting the Senior Investigators on more complex and/or sensitive investigations.
The role is based at South Eveleigh requiring travel anywhere across NSW if necessary.
You will prepare investigation plans, briefs of evidence to the criminal standard, interview witnesses and persons of interest, and conduct surveillance and covert operations ensuring that this is all performed ethically and in line with Commission policy.
Your excellent communication, stakeholder management and investigative skills formed across your career in a regulatory or compliance role where you were required to conduct investigations will see you excel in this role particularly if you have a Certificate IV in Government Investigations or equivalent.
You're recognised as team player who is a problem solver who can read and interpret legislation with the ability "to think outside the box", skilled at preparing investigation plans, briefs of evidence to the criminal standard, interviewing and surveillance work all this experience you would have gained while working in a regulatory role, ideally in a government organisation.
