Precast Concrete Team Leader – Immediate Start – Riverview, QLD Location: Riverview, QLD Pay Rate: $*****/hr (Casual) Hours: Varying shifts - Monday to Friday, between 5:00am and 3:30pm Employment Type: Temporary, Casual Start Date: Immediate / ASAP Our Client is a leading manufacturer of high-quality precast concrete infrastructure.
We are currently seeking an experienced and safety-focused Leading Hand to join our Client's production team.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating the assembly, modification, and concrete pouring of products.
Reporting directly to the Precast Shed Foreman , you will play a key role in ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently achieved.
About the Role As the Leading Hand, you will lead the day-to-day activities of the vertical leg assembly and pouring process, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate the setup, assembly, modification, and pouring of vertical leg formwork Interpret and work from engineering drawings and specifications Oversee safe concrete pouring activities from certified work platforms Drive quality outcomes and ensure finished products meet company standards Maintain a clean, secure, and organised work area Complete forklift pre-start safety inspections via iPad Ensure ladders, work platforms,
and other safety equipment remain compliant and operational Monitor raw material levels and communicate shortages to the Precast Shed Foreman Identify and report quality issues, discrepancies, hazards, and incidents Promote and maintain strong housekeeping standards across the assembly and pouring areas What You'll Bring To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: Previous experience in precast concrete manufacturing, formwork assembly, construction, or a similar industrial environment Leadership or supervisory experience within a production environment Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong commitment to workplace health and safety Excellent communication and teamwork skills High attention to detail and quality workmanship Ability to work in a physically demanding environment Forklift and/or crane operating experience will be highly regarded.
