Lead site-wide HSE strategy and safety culture.
About Our Client Our client is a well-established and highly regarded manufacturer operating within the life sciences sector, supporting customers through innovative engineering and technology solutions.

The site employs approximately 60 staff across both manufacturing and office environments.

Job Description As the HSE Manager, you will take ownership of all Health, Safety and Environmental functions across the site.
Acting as the subject matter expert and key point of contact on all HSE matters, you will work closely with site leadership to develop and implement strategies that support compliance, engagement and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include: Leading all site HSE activities, programs and compliance requirements.
Driving the site's HSE strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.
Supporting and managing internal and external audits, including upcoming audit activities.
Supporting accident and incident investigations and implementing corrective actions.
Monitoring performance metrics, reporting trends and developing improvement plans.
Partnering with leaders across the business to strengthen safety accountability and engagement.
Supporting health,
safety and environmental training and onboarding programs.
The Successful Applicant To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced HSE professional with a robust background in manufacturing, industrial or operational environments.
You will be a confident communicator who can build credibility with frontline employees and senior leadership alike while fostering a culture of accountability and safety excellence.
You will ideally possess: A recognised HSE qualification Minimum 5 years' experience in a Health, Safety and Environmental leadership role.
Strong understanding of HSE legislation, compliance requirements and management systems.
Demonstrated success leading audits, investigations and risk management programs.
Experience developing and implementing HSE strategies and improvement initiatives.
Knowledge of environmental, industrial hygiene and safety systems.
Exposure to ISO frameworks and auditing processes will be highly regarded.
Strong organisational skills, professionalism and attention to detail.
