The Senior Engagement and Programs Officerleadsstakeholder engagement across the Academy's regional centre network, partnering with internal teams and Department of Education, Catholic and independent school partners to design, deliver and evaluate high-impact professional learning. This role requires deepexpertisein professional learning design, programmanagementand the ability todrive performanceacross a complex stakeholder environment.

About the Division
The Regional Division leads the Academy's statewide regional presence through seven centres in Bairnsdale, Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong, Mildura,Moeand Shepparton. Itis responsible forrepresentingthe Academyinlocal communities across government, Catholic and independent school sectors, ensuringequitableaccess to high-quality professional learning, and strengthening pathways into and within the teaching profession.
The Division delivers and enables qualified learning aligned to the Academy's leadership and teaching excellence priorities, while responding to local needs, emerging trends, and system priorities. It plays a critical role in reducing geographic barriers for rural and regional educators by providing local access to programs,facilitiesand networks.
Each centre is staffed by a locally embedded team with robust knowledge of their community, educationcontextand stakeholders. These teams lead engagement with schools and regional partners, support participation in Academy programs, and contribute to broader public engagement and promotion of the profession.
The Division also leads the delivery of major statewide initiatives and events, including large-scale conferences, and contributes to whole-of-Academy strategy,planningand implementation.



It works closely with all Academy divisions to ensure coordinated, high-quality delivery across the state.
About the Role
The responsibilities of the Senior Engagement and Programs Officer include:
Building andmanagingrelationships with system leaders,schoolsand sector networks
Designing,procuring,deliveringand evaluating profess ional learning programs aligned to local needs and Academy priorities
Managing concurrent workstreams to meet quality,timeframeand budget requirements
Leading and deliveringevaluation frameworks to assess effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
Exercising independent judgement to resolve complex issues
Capabilities
Significant experienceplanning and delivering professional learning programs
Managingprogram and project management, including leading concurrent workstreams
Designing and implementing evaluation frameworks to assess effectiveness and inform improvement
Delivering outcomes through strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships across a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
A high levelof initiative and independent judgement tomanagecomplex issues and deliveroutcomes
Proven ability to lead end-to-end program design and delivery and strong project management capabilities.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
Demonstrated experience in effectively engaging and building positive relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
A relevant tertiary qualification in education or public administration.
