Work across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioningGenuine opportunity to progress into Project ManagementThe CompanyOur client is an established EPC contractor delivering utility-scale renewable energy and electrical infrastructure projects across Australia.With a growing pipeline of energy storage projects, they are looking to appoint a Senior Project Engineer to join their project delivery team on a permanent basis.The RoleThis is a hands-on project delivery role supporting a utility-scale BESS project through construction and commissioning.
The position will be site based in Dubbo NSW, operating on either a DIDO or FIFO arrangement depending on your location.Working as part of an experienced EPC delivery team, you will gain broad exposure across the project lifecycle and take ownership of key interfaces between engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
Following completion of the Dubbo project, you will transition onto the company's next major project, providing long-term continuity and a explicit pathway towards Project Management.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities across utility-scale BESS projectsReview drawings and specifications, and manage RFIs,



technical queries and design clarificationsCoordinate electrical subcontractors, suppliers and OEMs across allocated project scopesMonitor programme, risks and commercial matters, including forecasting, progress claims and variationsSupport WHSEQ, quality documentation, testing, commissioning and project close-out activitiesAbout YouStrong electrical, electromechanical or related project-delivery experienceExperience working for an EPC, head contractor or electrical contractorUtility-scale BESS experience is highly regarded, although relevant solar PV or substation experience will be consideredStrong commercial, programme and technical coordination capabilityA hands‐on approach with strong communication skills and a genuine willingness to work on siteA Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.What's on OfferLong-term opportunity across a strong pipeline of BESS and renewable projectsExposure to the complete EPC project lifecycleGenuine pathway towards Project ManagementFlexible project and travel arrangements depending on your locationCompetitive salary and project package based on experience
