We are recruiting for a Practice Nurse to join our Clinical Services team, working across The Centre Clinic, Equinox, and PRONTO! This role provides nursing support across THH's primary care services:
The Centre Clinic
: A trusted GP practice providing high-quality medical care to LGBTIQ+ communities and people living with HIV.
Equinox
: A trans and gender diverse health service reducing barriers to respectful, affirming care.
PRONTO!
: Our community-based HIV and STI testing and prevention program.
About the role
As the Practice Nurse, you will:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care, including health assessments, care planning, chronic disease management, and preventative health.
Provide phlebotomy, cervical screening, wound care, hormone injections, vaccinations, and support for minor procedures.
Collaborate with GPs, Nurse Practitioners, and Peer Test Facilitators to support clients' health needs.
Maintain infection control, vaccine cold chain, clinical supplies, and accreditation standards.
Work closely with clients to reduce barriers to care and provide trauma-informed, person-centred support.

About you
You are an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for inclusive healthcare. You will bring:
Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
Understanding of the health needs and experiences of LGBTIQ+ and HIV-affected communities.
Experience providing trauma-informed care and working with people from diverse backgrounds.
Strong interpersonal, organisational, and time-management skills.
Commitment to rights-based, person-centered practice.
