The Company
Resourceful Recruitment is proud to partner with an emerging engineering consultancy. This organisation delivers interesting and complex projects within the Utilities, Health, Chemical, Oil & Gas and Aviation sectors. This is largely due to their ability to deliver exceptional engineering solutions while ensuring the best outcomes for the project and their clientele. This consultancy is often engaged by the Asset Owners Team to investigate complex projects and present tailored engineering solutions, along with working in collaboration with respected Contractors.
The Opportunity
This role will see you interface with a range of clientele throughout the project milestones. You will also be presented with opportunities to truly consult with clientele by making recommendations that will improve their assets and delivery models.
Role Responsibilities
Lead technical discussions internally, with customers and with suppliers on behalf of the business
Power system modelling at HV and LV, including load flow, system strength and fault studies, power quality analysis,



protection coordination and dynamic disturbance analysis
Completion of design tasks for HV/LV power systems, electrical switchboards and control panels, process instrumentation, process control systems and others as required
Reviews and evaluates technical work, selects, schedules, and co-ordinates to attain program objectives
Preparation of project specifications, design reports and other project documentation as required
Position Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an industrial context with design and delivery responsibilities
Accomplished designer in protection systems, LV switchboards, industrial electrical installations and HV and LV power systems.
Chartered Engineer and RPEQ status
Familiar with Australian codes, standards and practices related to the electrical sector
Experience within a consultancy environment specifically in the electrical services sector
Solid verbal and written communication skills, with good report writing, analytical and computer skills
Proficiency in relevant electrical engineering design packages (eg PowerCAD, PTW, ETAP, PSCAD); AutoCAD expertise
