About the Prospect
n
The Merchandise Manager will lead the national
merchandisestrategy
across Country Care Group.
n
This is a highly commercial role responsible for the end toend management of merchandise categories, including category strategy, rangearchitecture, pricing, promotions, supplier partnerships and
commercialperformance.
n
Working collaboratively across Network
Operations,Marketing,
Digital, Supply Chain and Product Development, you'll deliver acustomer focused product offering that drives category growth, improves grossmargin and strengthens our position as one of Australia's leading providers ofassistive technology.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute thenational merchandise strategy
n
Lead
categorymanagement,
range architecture and assortment planning
n
Develop
pricing,promotional
and margin strategies across product categories
n
Build strategic




supplierpartnerships
and negotiate commercial trading terms
n
Analyse
categoryperformance
and identify opportunities to improve sales, margin andcustomer outcomes
n
Partner with Marketing,Digital, Supply Chain and Product Development to deliver category plansand new product initiatives
n
Implement best practicecategory management and merchandising processes across the business.
n

Our ideal candidate will have
n
n
Demonstrated experiencein Merchandise Management, Category Management or Buying within a nationalretail, wholesale or healthcare environment
n
Strong commercial acumenwith the ability to drive category performance and profitability
n
Experience
developingmerchandise
strategies, pricing models and category plans
n
Proven
suppliernegotiation
and relationship management experience
n
Excellent analytical andcommercial decision making skills
n
Strong
stakeholderengagement
skills with the ability to influence across multiple businessfunctions
n
Tertiary qualificationsin Business, Commerce, Marketing or a related discipline will be highlyregarded.
n

Experience within healthcare, medical devices or
assistivetechnology
will be highly regarded but is not essential.
n
